This is the front view of the DIY coop for our Silver Sebrights. We utilized hardware cloth on the top end for predator proofing, as well as ventilation, and air flow. The below windows we used plexiglass for insulation as well as predator proofing.
This is the side view of the DIY chicken coop. We put a sensor light on the side, as well as hardware cloth for predator proofing.
This is the side view of our DIY coop. We installed a shed window and built around it using picket fencing. This window will alow airflow on hotter days, and insulation for the winter.
This was the start of our DIY chicken coop. We bought a playhouse on the marketplace for very cheap
We needed a sturdy, weatherproof coop, so we started with a roof.
In addition to weather proofing, we made sure that there was plenty of ventilation, and that the coop was predator proof. We added a shed window, and installed hardware cloth on all other windows.
